Running Sensor

If you are running and running for progress and improvement, there has to be a way to keep tabs on your progress. This is where the running sensor comes into play. It may be embedded in your wristwatch or your mobile phone.

This app or device helps you know how long you have run, your speed in these runs, your heart rate, and how many calories you have lost. With the running sensor, you can keep track of your runs every day and set goals for yourself. You can then work on achieving new goals every day with every run so you can continue running while traveling.

I prefer to use the Garmin pod but there are several other options out there.

Running lights to help see in the dark

These are running lights that are super handy to use and come in pairs. I like to clip them onto my shoes and my first. They help for both people and cars to see you approaching.

Running Bells so others can hear you coming

Similar to the concept of running lights, the running bells work great as an indicator that you are passing through. These bells conveniently fit the fingers of your hands like rings. The thumb is used to push a small ring on the bell and that makes a sound that sounds similar to bicycle bells.

So when you are passing through people may step aside thinking that a cycle is passing through and will be surprised to see it’s you. It will help you while running while traveling for sure.

Nano Spikes

This is an amazing tool to help you run on difficult terrains. These are elastic bands that cover the entire sole of your shoes with tiny spikes that come in a pair. These spikes help you with your grip on these terrains.

Even if you are not a runner, and are trekking through difficult terrains like snowy trails and rocky mountainous areas, these nano spikes once on your shoes work a great wonder in giving you that grip on the land and help you from slipping and falling.

A Chaffing Stick is a must for running while traveling!

Last but not least; this is the chaffing stick for a blister-free run. Runners know this very well, the blisters that are caused due to running and friction, on the thighs, and legs are very painful, and they oftentimes stop you from taking a run the next day.
